A Safe Tweet is a Happy Tweet!

Twitter is a free service that can help you stay connected with the people in your life via mobile texting, instant messaging or on the web. People can send or reply to short messages which they call “tweets” and they are no more than 140 characters. However, just like any other social networking sites, this is also falling prey to scammers. Hence, today we are going to share with you a few tips on how to tweet safely for your child.
  1. Remove your child's personal information from his/her Twitter profile.
  2. Turn off the "Tweet Location" feature in your child's Twitter profile.
  3. Turn on the "Protect My Tweets" feature in your child's Twitter profile.
  4. Follow your child on Twitter and check their account settings on a regular basis.
